thank you for videoguide but i searched for this module in my back office but i failed

i've got standard block top menu and i use default bootstrap theme and prestashop 1.6.0.5

my block top menu displays a lot of subcategories of "parent" category. i want to hide all subcategories and display ony "parent" categories

 

how i can do that? i have to modify module php files?

My question is in the title of the topic

i wondering how i can remove the conditions from product page 

i use prestashop 1.6.0.5 with default-bootstrap template

My IT said that some prestashop versions allows to use other database systems like postgresql,

he said also that postrgresql is a little bit faster than mysql

 

any idea what version allows to use postgresql?

does latest release 1.6.0.5 support postgresql?
