should everyone after birth be given a minimum wealth or income

in the past it means we should all be entitled to some acre of land, but now since wealth is measured in bank accounts, should one be entitled to mininum wealth when he or she is born?

its almost its a prerequisite for utopia, its not communism but i think we are going that path at some point.

You mean £5k invested in an ETF for them until they're old enough to go Uni or until they get close to retirement:hmm I would give them £1k when they go into the GCSE years and access to an investment account. They can then try their hand at investing, researching and understanding companies, trade and economics. Who knows it might breed a new generation of entrepreneurs/savers and investors.

Hey there! This is a really interesting topic you brought up about having minimum wealth or income at birth. It's a tough one to figure out, but there's definitely some merit to the idea of a universal basic income. It could help a lot of people with financial security. But it's not that simple to implement. On a different note, check out a free paystub creator if you're looking to create a paystub. It can help you keep track of your expenses. Thanks for bringing up this thought-provoking topic!
