Hey guys, gals, and all beautifuls,

Let's talk cigarettes! They're gross and I hate them but I am struggling to stop.

I started smoking seriously (half to 1 pack a day) a few weeks ago because... I don't know. I have a second life in Colombia, long story, and I came back home to Idaho a few weeks ago. Boyfriend in Colombia is really, really not handling it well. I'm trying to restabilize after a little mental health crisis and having friends and family around is really nice. But still, stress.

I live with my dad in the countryside of the Mormon Corridor and I love stepping outside and the rhythm of putting the damn thing to my mouth and inhaling and enjoying the pretty things outside. My cat usually lays by my feet and it's really cute.

But fuck me I didn't realize I'd get to this point. Used to just have one every now and then, used to only be able to handle half of a 100 before I'd get so nauseated and dizzy that I'd have to lie down. I threw up once after 4 Juul puffs. Lovely.

I keep telling myself "this is my last one", I have the various Nicorette things but for some reason the ciggies beckon, ladies. Do I pull a Dua Lipa and accept that my life circumstances have led me to this point? Has anyone here quit successfully? What do? Tell me your cigarette things.

First off, big props to you for reaching out and being open about this. Quitting smoking is tough, no doubt about it.

It's a tough habit to shake. A while back, I found myself puffing away more than I ever thought I would. It started as a stress reliever, but soon I was smoking almost a pack a day. It's easy to get caught in that cycle, especially when life's throwing challenges at you.

For me, the turning point was when I decided to try vaping. I was skeptical at first, but I figured it was worth a shot. I stumbled upon Best Elf Bars Flavours and was surprised by how much I enjoyed the different tastes. It was like a little adventure, trying out each new taste. If you're thinking about giving vaping a try, you might want to check out some of the flavours. It's not quitting outright, but it's a step away from cigarettes, and for me, it made a big difference.
