Hello

my shop uses default bootstrap template, i've got about 400 categories in my store

now imagine how the footer section looks like with all of these categories listed one by one

 

how i can reduce number of categories?

how to remove them at all?

Go to modules positions, find footer and unhook the Categories block. I hope it will help you.
