european union cookies law

Comply with europe union law is mandatory for all online stores that use cookies. Failure to comply with this law can cover a sanction and closing shop. This module will add special cookies notification to your shop where you will be able to inform shop guests about cookies.

i added improvements to "save" process.

added feature to module to decide where you want to include the library of ue cookie module.

i added it because many non-default themes dont use default displayFooter hook to build footer section.

now you can use other section to include ue cookie library so it will work also with themes that doesnt use displayFooter hook.

i upgraded this addon! added several imrpovements related to module installation in prestashop 1.6.x and fixed appearance of "notification" popup in back office

today i released new version of the european union cookies law module.

- the most important thing is fact, that i changed the code a little to support new release of PrestaShop 1.7 (alpha 3 currently)

 

in addition to this i added some minor improvements to module updates process

- feature to disable / enable automatic updates checker

- possibility to check if new version is available manually

added improvements to rich text editor load process (now tinymce works properly)

prestashop after update 1.6.1.9 loads tinymce editor in a little different way than previously, because of this it was necessary to update the module to support these changes.

 

to see the changes in your shop back office - upload new version and clear browser cache (there is a chance that your browser will remember old .js files so in effect it will not work)

- added new option to display close button: "center (below the contents)"

- added feature to include font awesome library (if your prestashop 1.7 does not use it, or if your theme does not use it you can include it to shop to support [x] button

- added option to define close animation type (slide out / fade out)

- added improvements to rich text editor

- after update to prestashop 1.6.1.9 editor stopped to appear - this fix solves problem

- due to the changes in module js file - it may be requires to clear browser cache to see the changes.

- now editor saves urls properly (does not remove the domain from url)

- added feature to define position of close button (left side / right side of notification)
