Back a few months ago, we have been receiving requests for a solution to integrate and synchronize data between WooCommerce – the great opensource web eCommece solution and Square – the rising payment solution with multi millions users. These are great ecommerce solutions in their own way. And a connector/bridge between the two has become neccessy. Luckily, the two platform both offer API and that made integration possible.
After 2 months in development, we released the beta version 2 weeks ago for a limited number of user to try out. Today we are thrilled to announce Woocommerce Square Up Integration plugin has been officially released. The plugin offer a convenient and and also great way to synchronize data between WooCommerce and Square.

The plugin was created based on latest Woocommerce and Square API, here are the main features:

What do you need to make use of this plugin? Here are requirements:
Square
- Square account
WooCommerce
- WooCommerce 2.2 or better
- WordPress 4.0 or better
- PHP 5.3 or better with cURL support
- Single language site – multilingual sites are not supported yet
- Woocommerce store must be live for Live sync
Please note: this does not provide Square payment integration into WooCommerce, it provides data synchronization between WooCommerce store and Square account (POS/Register) only. By the time of this post, Square doesn’t provide a shared API or payment gateway for processing payments yet. For details, please check:
