The industry is actually growing faster than ever as more countries move toward regulation. There are always risks with changing laws, but big companies are very good at adapting their tech to stay compliant. It is a very resilient sector because entertainment is always in demand, even when the global economy is a bit shaky. I think it is one of the safest bets for a tech career right now.
