how to setup the redirection currency and language based on country ip? In Prestashop 1.5.6.1 version.

Hi, 1.5.6.1 has new feature where it will interrogate the visitsor browser http_accept_languge.  Note: it only looks for first http_accept_language and if not found then uses default language.

 

Personally I do not recommend using an IP check because  that is not as accurate as actual http_accept_language configured by visitor.

 

here is moudle that extends native prestahop http_accept_language (analyizes all http_accept_languages not just first) and also will set currency.

I think Localized shipping module will works for you to set shipping rates and language by country. Good Luck!

I came to know the PrestaShop geoIp module which will helps to redirect the user based on country IP to their relative currency and language.
