When i try to upload the thumbnail image of the default category then without giving any error, it simply comes to earlier situation without any uploading of image. Can anyone help me please. I am new to prestashop.

have you got an access to server error log?
there is a chance that in logs you can find some more details related to this issue
are you able to check what browser console returns?
