After updating to the latest version of the section modules we see evil and all modules unofficial appear bad.

seems like it's a problem with admin modules controller (optionally admin template files)
if i were you i will try to replace admin controllers (download 1.6.0.11 release, unpack it, and upload files of /controllers/admin/ directory to your remote version of shop). do the same with admin theme directory.
