As per the Magento source and blog, Magento will end the life support for all the Magento 1.X editions. And, the deadline for Magento End of Life is June 2020. That means that you must have to migrate to Magento 2. If you continue to use Magento, or it may get attacked by hackers and spammers.

Well, this is because once the Magento ends all the ties with Magento 1, It will not release any quality and security upgrades. This essentially means that there will be no reliable source for solutions to bugs and critical issues arising after June 2020. It means you could lose PCI compliance which means that you will no longer be able to accept the credit cards.

There will be only a few Magento Development Agencies that will work and provide you a support for the outdated Magento 1. Also, Magento 1 won’t provide the desired user experience to your customers. Thus, the sales and conversion start to decline for your store.

We understand that making a decision for Magento 1 to Magento 2 Migration is hard for you but it is a necessary one. And deciding that before 2020 is very crucial. Why? Because the migration to Magento 2 is a complicated process and requires a lot more focus and efforts of highly experienced developers.

At Mconnect Media, we have 11+ years of experience in Magento development with 36+ successful migrations. So, we encourage you to migrate not because of the disadvantages of continuing on Magento 1, but because of the advantages of flagship Magento 2 offers. So, make your Move & let our Certified Magento 2 Developers help you throughout whole Magento 2 Migration Process.
