i browsed several times addons store for module like you can find on default demo page here:

prestashop 1.6 demo - it's an official prestashop 1.6 demo showcase.

 

take a look on the left hand side column,

below the categories block "Dresses" there is a nice feature to search and filter products.

hello

this is a block layered navigation module.

this addon is free and it's a part of each module installation

 

go to modules > modules, search for module named "layered navigation" and you will see it on list.

then just install it and configure, you will have the same filtering feature. it's awesome!

How do you configure it to show in the front end

you have to turn module on and create conditions there,

make sure that your shop have left column visible

I can't figure out how to get this to work on my site....

 

I have configured a template to be attached to all of my categories but I'm not seeing anything on my Front Office.....I am using a custom theme.
