Hi, I am having major problems with your Pop Up Pro module on my Prestashop 1.6.0.9 testing domain.

It has been acting very strange for sometime now and has not been saving popups, popups not working etc. I upgraded from 2.1.4.5 to 2.1.4.7 without luck. I have also actioned the Upgrade Consistency function.

Luckily it is working ok on my production site.

I have previously left you messages on your forum (Cart_help) about problems with this module and am very disappointed that you have not replied....

Please look into these issues as a matter of urgency.

new version of popup pro module released

- added fixes related to responsiveness. Now when you will disable mobile popup - it will not appear on mobile devices. If you disable tablet popup - it will not appear on tablet devices. The same with desktop view.

are you able to add discovery for iOS and Android visitors?

 

In this case it would be useful for mobile visitors with custom popup message for Android and iOS devices which can be used to provide url address for download of mobile apps (if such exist).

 

Your module is still good, it is possible to turn it on just for mobile visitors and to write "If you are Android visitor go to... If you are iOS visitor go to...", but this would be better solution.

module allows to define contents for mobile devices.

in addition, in prestashop 1.6 you can turn on / off modules for selected device types

it means that you can disable popup for desktop pc, and turn it on only for mobile / tablet devices.

so, in simple words: it is possible to achieve what you mentioned :-)

Ok, I understand this.

But if I want to make two different pop-ups, one for Android and one for iOS visitors, then I am unable to do that separately.

at the moment module doesnt have feature to distinct type of OS on mobile device.

what is your prestashop version? i will check what i can do in this case :-)

yes

module allows that

on popup configuration page turn off "test mode" and define HUGE value of "redisplay time" for example, to 10 years.

Is it possible to attach a pop up to the shopping cart?

 

Currently, Guests can add products to the Shopping Cart and I want a pop up to remind them to register and other important information I need to tell them.

Hi Vekia,

 

There is still a problem with  the Pop ups stopping working for no reason.

 

I was using 2.1.4.7 and I was adding new popups and decided to test the existing popups only to discover that almost all of them (5 in total) had stopped working!

 

I upgraded to 2.1.4.8 and it did not fix the problem...and yes, the "Upgrade Consistency" was run and worked.

 

I am very concerned that this issue seems to remain. I rely heavily on popups providing my customers with useful information....can you please look into this again?

 

I had to recreate all of the popups again....

Hi Vekia,

I am using the latest version of Pop Up.

I want to "link/attach" a pop up to the "Add to Cart" button so that when somebody presses it a pop up is displayed that reminds them to register etc.

Obviously all of the existing functionality and the "Display popup once again after" values also work as normal.

Can you tell me how to do this?
