The formal societal arrangement includes addressing a person with a prefix.

 

Magento 2 identifies the widespread use of prefixes and hence allows the admin to enable or disable prefix in customer account in Magento 2 store.

 

 

Include or remove prefix field in the registration form, checkout and when adding new address from “My Account” section in Magento 2 store.
